Minutes From September 2010 Meeting
1. We have a free advert in the Long Eaton Extra.
2. Maria visited Pot Doodling on Cobden Street. A good day out - Awaiting Details. Faye is arranging a trip on the 14th October to do activities including christmas decorations. Prices from £4.00 per item which can be collected one week later. Please let Faye know if you would like to attend.
4. Christmas Trip - Conkers have offered the following prices: - £4.95 to visit Santa & received cookie and present, but unfortunately they want an extra £5.95 per child entry. We feel this is a little expensive , so any other ideas for venues to Marie please.
5. Thank you to Donna and Wendy for the trips they organised in the holidays. Great fun.
6. October trip being organised by Faye. The trip is on Thursday 28th October and is to Ash end children's farm in Tamworth. The bus will pick up from the usual places around sawley and long eaton and leave at 9am. It takes approx 1 hour to get there. When we arrive we have been offered a guided tour included in the entry price and then we have a heated picnic barn resevered for our lunch at 12pm. The bus will leave to come home at 3pm. Each child will recieve a basket with an egg they pick themselves and a farm badge of their choice and there will be plenty of opportunities for them to cuddle or stroke the animals. Prices are- £4.95 per child (babies in buggies go free), £4.45 per adult and the each bus seat will be £3.00. Anyone interested please either contact Faye (on 07725147855) or Wendy as soon as possible.
7. Room at Grange School available to all childminders in the area from 9:00 to 3:00 pm on a Monday to be booked by rining Marie. Liz Hart will be there on some Mondays and will be available to talk to you. Childminders cannot book the hall on these days. Only 3-4 Childminders at a time. Free of charge.
We have also been offered a room at Lime Grove once a month (maximum 20 people) to book ring Anna Quale. You have to provide your own refreshments.
8. TLC Teddies. Wendy informed the group that to date we have raised £300.00 for the TLC Charity. The charity are now selling larger teddy bears to raise more funds. The prices are 24" teddy - £15.00. 16" teddy - £8.00.

10. Halloween Party - Plank and Leggit - Monday 25th October - 9:30am to 12:00pm - Cost £2.00 per child (spaced limited) Fancy dress optional. Please pay Donna and collect lunch box to fill.
11. Toddler Christmas Party - Plank and Leggit - Thursday 16th December - 9:30am to 12:00pm - Cost £2.00 per child. Please pay Donna and collect lunch box to fill.
12. On Normal Weekdays the Plank and Leggit will not be opening until 11am. Next Meeting
