1. Toddlers Christmas Party

Thursday 10th December - 11am to 1pm

Little Drivers

£3.50 per child includes visit and present from Santa and a hot meal.

Numbers and money to Wendy by Saturday 7th November.

2. Trip to Conkers.

This was a huge success. We hope to repeat this trip in the near future.

3. Halloween Party. As a thank you to Louise the group will sending her flowers. She organised a lovely party.

4. There are spaces available on the following courses: -

Child Development 0-8 years Introduction - 19th November 2009. Ref 8557, at St Laurance School.

Positive Relationships - 16th November 2009. Ref 8627, at Pride Park.

5. Free Milk Scheme.

Childminders can claim 189ml of milk per child aged under 5 in the setting per day. Formula milk can also be claimed for children under 12 months. If interested you can ring Michelle on 07706 483212 who can organise delivery.

6. OFSTED

Reference Donna's phone call. There is no definite date for childminders to be required to hold a level 3 qualification.

However, financial help to gain a level 3 qualification is available for a limited period.

Ring the training team if interested. This requirement has not been passed through parliament yet.
