Minutes From July 2008 Meeting

1. Welcome to the new member Sally.

2. Donna spoke about the EYFS conference on Saturday the 5th July. It was very good and Donna recommended that if another one is scheduled, attendance is well worth while.

3. Reminder for all members behind with their subs to pay all monies owing to Wendy as soon as possible. There is currently £64.00 outstanding and this money is needed to fund this summers outings.

4. Summer trip to Amerton Farm - Special Circus event, full details to follow.

5. Summer trip to the seaside. Donna has suggested hiring a coach and splitting the cost between individual minders of the group. Please let Donna know if you would prefer Tuesday 12th August or Wednesday 13th August as soon as possible. More details to follow.

6. Wendy still has craft items to sell and will be visiting the recycling centre in the near future. If there is anything specific you would like please let Wendy know.

7. Donna would like to send a big thank you to everyone for the cards and flowers.

Clowns, Circus Skills, Face Painting, Body Art, Fair Ground Rides and more

Includes Ferret Racing on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s

Entry to site and shops free, car parking free, snacks and drinks available to buy inside the shop. .

Play Barn - £2.49 per child.

Animal Rescue Centre - Adults £2.00, Children £1.50 (under 4’s free).

Gentleshaw Bird of Prey Hospital and Wildlife Centre

15 Minutes away from Amerton - Stone Road, Eccleshall - Inside Fletchers Country Garden Centre.

Small but worth a visit on a nice day.

Picnic area, small park, various animals and small gift shop.

Open 10:30am - 4:30pm.

Adults £3.00

Children £2.00 - Under 2’s free.

Monkey Magic - Monkey Forests

15 minutes from Amerton, Trentham Estate, Stone Road, Trentham.

Adults £6.00

Children £4.50 - Under 3’s free.

Free roaming Barbary Macaque Monkey’s. Not all areas are suitable for wheelchairs. Steep slopes are difficult, but possible for pushchairs.
