About My Family

My name is Donna and I have been minding for approximately 6 and a half years, I work closely with my husband Andy who is registered with Ofsted as an assistant. We have two children Jack aged 13 and Chloe aged 7, and a dog called Bailey. We have a caravan and are active members of the Camping and Caravan Club. I am the chair of the ´Peace of Mind Childminders Group´, and organise a lot of events for the children in my care throughout the year from Teddy Bears Picnics to Nature walks and days out at the seaside, farms, zoos and theme parks. OFSTED has inspected our setting and has agreed that we provide childcare to a ´GOOD´ standard. Our OFSTED report can be viewed here.

I am fully up to date with all OFSTED required training and have recently updated my first aid, food hygiene and safeguarding children training. I have also now achieved my NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development.

Core hour price:- We charge an all inclusive price of £3.00 per hour. All food, drinks and snacks are included in the hourly rate (except babies, the parents normally supply their own bottles).

Activities / Toddler Group Fees / Day Trips during school holiday, including any reasonable extras such as Ice Creams and drinks are also included in the price.

Sample Weekly Menu

Breakfast

Choice of: - Weetabix, Multigrain hoops, Coco Pops, Toast with Jam.

Drinks of either: - Squash, Water, Hot Chocolate, Tea, Coffee or Milk.

Elevenses

Fresh fruit, normally Banana, Grapes, Apple or Toast

Drinks of either: - Orange Squash, Blackcurrant Squash, Water, or Milk.

Lunch

Usually one of the following, unless we are out for a picnic........

Meatballs and Pasta, Cheese on toast, Fish Fingers with Smiley Faces and peas, Sausage mash carrots and peas.

Drinks of either: - Orange Squash, Blackcurrant Squash, Water, or Milk.

After School Snack

Choice of: Apple, Banana, Toast, Crumpets or Biscuits

Drinks of either: - Squash, Water, Hot Chocolate, warm or cold milk, Tea or Coffee.

Evening Meal (served at 16:30 Hours)

Usually one of the following, unless we are out for a picnic........

Sausage Casserole with mashed potatoes, Spaghetti Bolognaise, Tuna & Paste bake, Fish, Chips and Peas, Shepherds Pie.

Drinks of either: - Orange Squash, Blackcurrant Squash, Water, or Milk.
