Minutes From August 2010 Meeting
1. Than you Nicola for providing a venue.
2. Marie showed us some books to use as audit tools. She wanted feedback from the group before purchasing some with group funds (cost approx £40). The idea is you ask a friend to audit your setting using the books as a guideline to detail what you should be providing and the "next step" in improving your setting.
3. McCain Website - If you go on the website and apply for a sports day kit, one hundred are donated each day. You will receive an e-mail if you are not successful.
4. Meeting at Lime Grove (24/8/2010) to discuss the group belonging to a network. Please let Marie know if you would like to attend as numbers are limited.
5. Application for funding (Community Wildlife Funding). Marie would like to work with others on this application. Initially she is thinking of several nature walks with nature packs for each child.
6. Faye will be organising a group trip in October.
7. The Arts and Crafts Centre, Granville Avenue are offering discounted activities to groups. Faye will investigate further and let us know at the next meeting..
8. Sarah Clarke Smith gave a detailed explanation of networks.
