1. Donna thanked the returning committee and very kindly distributed gifts.

She then gave the names of the new committee members and thanked them for their support in putting their names forward.

Donna spoke of how she would like to unite the group together by arranging more outings and activities for the whole group. Obviously this will necessitate the need for more group funds. Donna proposed raising subs to £2.50 per month or £25 for the year (non refundable).

This proposal was passed unanimously.

2. Julie Stanton is hoping to organise a trip to Long Eaton Fire Station! Lisa (who is friendly with a fireman!!!) is to liase with Julie with the summer holidays in mind.

3. Proposed quiz night fundraiser, approximately £5 per head including a small meal and prize for the brainiest amongst us. More details to follow as quite a few people have expressed an interest.

4. A raffle was drawn to raise funds. Thank you for everyone who participated and to Linda and Debbie for donating prizes.

5. Cleethorpes Trip

Wednesday August 12th.

Tickets £5 each (no concessions)

Money to be paid to Donna or Wendy at the time of reservations being made. Seats cannot be saved until they have been paid for. All money is non refundable.

This is a really enjoyable trip and great fun was had last year.

Book early to avoid disappointment.
